Payment terms: We only accept payment by internet bank transfer or cash. Subscription payments must be made in full before any items can be borrowed.
Returning borrowed items: You will be responsible for returning the borrowed items on time. That is by the end of the maximum loan period (one month). If you fail to return the items on time, late return charges will apply. The charges are set at $5 per day.
Ownership: All loaned puzzles and games are the property of Kea Library, and customers are not allowed to re-loan the items.
Item care and lost components: You agree to provide proper care of the borrowed items and to return them in the same condition at the end of the loan period. Responsibility for the borrowed items remains with the customer from the time of receipt to the time of return. Please be sure all puzzle pieces and game equipment are accounted for at all times and protected from weather or other events that could damage them.
If some components go missing and can be replaced from the manufacturer, you will be charged for these replacements, if required. Due to some manufacturer replacement policies, it may be necessary to replace the entire puzzle or game should some pieces get lost or damaged. You acknowledge, understand and accept this risk. If you should receive a puzzle or game where there are pieces missing, then please notify us promptly.
Lost or damaged items: If a puzzle or game is lost, stolen, damaged or abandoned during a loan, you are responsible for paying the full retail price of an equivalent product. You will be able to keep the product that is damaged. You will not be able to loan any further items until these monies have been provided.
Non-contactable customers: If you do not return the items borrowed or pay any funds required for lost or damaged components and remain un-contactable, Kea Library reserves the right to pursue the reclaim of the items/funds through all avenues of recourse, including legal action. Any costs that Kea Library incurs during these proceedings will be on charged to the customer.
